Politics in religion has become in recent years a volatile subject, and before I do any sort of commenting on the statements of the candidates running for the office of the President of the United States of America, I plan on doing a little bit more research.
My good friend Dean has recently brought to light some accusations Dr. James Dobson brought against Barack Obama.
While I am not a fan of Obama's politics, nor his presidential campaign, I have come to respect him as a man of faith. Here are two different links (one speech and one link to his site) about his views on faith. In reading over them, they're quite respectable and reasonable.
In light of recent religious discourse in the political arena, these come as a bit of fresh air.
I'm gonna watch this for a bit before I choose to say anything colorful.

My academic concentration
The title of this section is pretty self-explanatory. I dedicated my five years of undergraduate work to this topic, and now I open up the floor for discussion with you guys. I'm open to taking this one whichever way it may end up, but I would like to explore how current philosophies and religions intersect with Christianity, Christianity itself, and so forth. All comments are welcome, and I am extremely excited about this section.
